Record keeping is important to ensure both the customer and Columbus Micro have the correct electronic assets. Transparency is important to the company. Depending on the record-keeping procedure a customer chooses, a Scan-In Document will be sent after the data destruction period. Each unit will be carefully disassembled, and parts will be sorted based upon their recyclable properties and if they contain hazardous properties. With full compliance from the EPA, clients have the option of receiving a full list for all materials passed through the recycling process.
Our machines are custom built locally while offering world class quality. For 30 years, we have prided ourselves on being made in America, and offering technical support in-house. Columbus Micro has been working with businesses since we opened in 1988. We understand that businesses need a quality machine and a fair price.

Almost a year ago, my computer quit working. No problem. I just called my computer repair shop. and got a recording saying they were closed that day. Now I had a problem. Trying not to panic at the thought of 24 hours offline, I called Cols Micro Systems and asked if they could fix it. Steve, the guy who answered the phone, said, "Sure, but can I ask a couple questions?" No, I'm NOT going to tell you what was wrong.
The point of this isn't to tell you how computer-illiterate I am. It's to tell you how ethical Cols Micro Systems is. They could've let me bring the machine in and made some quick cash. Instead Steve walked me through a couple steps over the phone and saved my computer's life. Last week, I decided to buy a new computer and of course you see where this is headed: I went to Cols Micro Systems.
They helped me figure out exactly what I wanted in a new computer, gave me a very competitive price and built the machine in less than a week. Am I happy? I'm so happy! A clean, fast computer at a good price, and good people to deal with. If you want to buy a computer or have one repaired by people you can trust, go to Columbus Micro Systems!

My PC died when I attempted to power it up after being out of town over the weekend. I dropped it off at their shop based on the recommendation of a friend. I dropped it off first thing on a Tuesday morning and it was ready the same day! The team was very professional and I was extremely pleased with the repair work and the price. I would highly recommend Columbus Micro Systems for any of your PC repair needs.

I'm surprised that I'm the first to write about CMS. Columbus Micro has been my computer store for many years; I'd say 15-20 years or more. The advantage over Micro Center has always been that at CMS you could bring in a machine for service and buy a new motherboard or graphics card and either install it yourself or have them install it for you.
I think that over the years, they've gravitated toward one brand and fewer add-ons. But I still use them for service. Just last month I took my machine in for a new motherboard. Their prices for repairs is very reasonable and their service is pretty fast.
