My wife is a preschool teacher and the external hard drive that had her lesson plans stopped working. I took it to the service desk and the technician (I think he said his name was either Merlin or Marvin) was able to transfer her hard drive into another external case and we were able to access the data immediately. Thanks for helping us out.

Bought my daughter's laptop for the best price in town there. I told them what I wanted and needed and they made sure that we got what we were looking for and then if I had any questions they made sure that we were covered and taken care of and knew what we had before we walked out the door. I bought my desktop computer from them a couple years before and it is still and perfect working condition. I trust these guys before anybody else. Definitely recommend them to everybody and anybody.

Really old and expensively priced computer towers. Only short warranty. You can buy brand new co.puters for same or less more updated. I sincerely went in expecting cheaper prices for the older used products. No extended warranty offered. Buy refurbished from Best Buy or Walmart like I did. Saved $400 extra. Epc was selling older models for $600 to $800 and higher. Try Walmart or Costco or AMAZON who has 3 to 4 yr extended warranties. Much newer computers and lap tops and tablets.

Prices were high compaired to online for led monitors. Advertise 65$led but when you get there the cheapest is $110. Say you have to get online because they ship from multiple warehouses. Can buy new for $99 from dell. showed employeeDell web with price and he said sounds like your best option then. I would have probably bought 2 monitors if they had the 65$ ones or even worked to compete to get the business.

I had a new hard drive put in my computer less than a year ago. The hard drive is currently failing. EPC put in the hard drive. So I called them to see what my options were. They told me that the hard drive was probably still under warranty, but that the labor would not be. They told me to contact the manufacturer with the serial number so that I could check about getting a replacement under warranty.
I asked how I would get the serial number. I was told that I would have to bring the computer in for the serial number to come off the hard drive. I asked if they would have the serial number on file, as they were the ones who installed it. They said that they had no need for such things. I said that they do obviously, As I am a customer of theirs who is obviously in need of the serial number.
At that point, the service technician told me that I was being petty. That is definitely not the way to good customer service. I am simply trying to get something fixed that they originally fixed, and now is feeling. Not only do I have to pay for labor twice within the same calendar year, but I am also told that I am being petty because I am wanting information off of something that they installed. Something that they should have record of. Definitely not service that is expected.

I have been a customer of EPC since the late 90's and still depend on them today. They are the backup for equipment and service that I depend on. Mark, the service department manager, and all of his staff are responsive, friendly and capable. You will be shown respect and get reliable help, no matter what your needs may be or your level of comfort with technology. Not only do I use EPC, but I have been recommending them to customers and friends for a long time. Alan

I bought a linux box here several months ago for $150. I have run that machine constantly since the first time i turned it on, never had to restart it (thank linux and good hardware). The salespeople were quite nice and didn't pitch me anything outrageous. Definitely go here to find good disused towers and such as your money will get you farther here than buying new (with some assumed risk). My machine is a dual core 3ghz intel, quick (even if you had put windows on it, which jacks the price up around $75).

The absolute worst place to go for computer repairs! I am an IT person and I knew what was wrong - I just needed my laptop fixed! I had a broken bezel/cable that was causing my screen to fade. Told them that and it turned into a BLEEDING LCD - then after waiting a week for a cable the decided I needed a bezel and the $160 quote became $260! I paid the $30 service charge and RAN from the building!
Oh - and then when I tried to use the laptop again - the keyboard didn't work! Bought a brand new laptop for less than $300 at Best Buy! While I was waiting for service I saw the sales guy trying to sell and old man and his granddaughter a used tower (piece of junk) for more than $200! (I did tell the granddaughter to take grandpa to Best Buy - DO NOT BUY THEIR JUNK! Go to a store that sells new computers and get a warranty!

Purchased a used laptop for $300 6 months ago. The motherboard went out. They gave me two choices replace the motherboard or purchase another used laptop. Both solutions would cost over $200. THE GOOD: They did not charge me the $30 diagnosis fee. (Reason I gave them two stars instead of one) THE BAD: They let me walk out the door with a broken laptop with no offer of discount or solution besides paying full price.
I realize I purchased a used laptop and the risk comes with that, but the average cost came to $50 per month and no hint of trying to work with me. Can't say I will be a repeat customer.

I have bought multiple computers here in the store and through their EBay store and have had no issues. The sales guy I use in the store always works a great deal for me. I also know multiple people that work here that used to work at Comp USA with me. This place really has a niche and a really good corner on the market they serve. I would highly recommend the Tech shop for any work on your PC.
