Great experience at cooper systems and superb job fixing my all in one that had given me nothing but headaches for years. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable at pickup and answered all of the silly questions that I had. I will be sending any and all future computer business to them. Than you

Be wary! Had an IMac that wouldn't boot. Took it to Cooper and after reviewing it they said it was the hard disk failing. Said two choices (1) cost $700-$900 and it would take a while, or (2) buy a refurbished one from them (slightly newer than mine) for $850 - $950 (depending on who you talked to). Declined both and took it to the Genius Bar.
They evaluated it right there and said it was indeed the hard drive failing. They said they couldn't fix old machines (mine missed by a year), but a place in town was an authorized Apple repair place and suggested I call them. I went to the repair place they suggested and left my machine. Two days later I had it back with a new Solid State drive for $307.30 total.

Took my computer in to be cleaned up and optimized. Left with over a $1000+ bill, a cheap and inadequate new hard drive they said I needed, 10 years of dust still in the computer after specifically requesting that they clean it out, and instead of cloning everything, I had to reinstall all my programs, browser bookmarks, etc. Worst customer service too-they we're rude, never returned my calls, and it was obvious they weren't looking out for my best interest.

I purchased a Phoenix computer from them in 2014 and it is a very good machine. I had to replace the power supply after 7 years of constant use however which they did for me within a 6 business day turn around. I dealt with Greg whom I believe to be quite competent. I found no draw backs with this company and will consider them when ready to upgrade.

Wished I had gone to this web site first and read the reviews. My experience was similar to many who have replied below. My wife's cell phone was accidently drowned in the washing machine. Our laptop was hit with a power serge, we brought them both to C.S. They lady on the phone was optimistic that they could help with the phone. When we got there, the young man who spoke very loud and very fast, indicated that he did not think they could help on the phone.
But he would be willing to take the $150 fee and try. O.k. we chose not to. My computer, hoping I can retrieve a few word, excel files and maybe some pictures. I paid the $150 initial fee to diagnosis the problem. Checked back with them a couple of days later, they were not able to download any files, but they have a proprietary software that they think will work for $99.00 more.
I declined. Miracle of miracles, they call me back and they can waive this fee. They estimate the time it will take and we agree on a price. And in all fairness, what they quoted me is what they charged. I did fill out a survey in the office before I left and they set me up with an app that will get me a reduced fee the next time i go there. But I think I am going to check a few places first before and if I ever return to Cooper Systems.

This was a complete waste of money! Paid over $350.00 for them to "diagnose" and "fix" my slow running computer. Apparently there were viruses on my computer. My computer runs slower and makes a weird noise now-if it comes on at all. And then they offer a deal if you post a good review on BBB. Seriously? I could've put the 350.00 on a brand new computer!

Website says same day service. Google reviews say "fast service" and" "reliable". Employees take your $240 for a "3 hour diagnosis". Fast forward one week later. Haven't touched the damned thing. Took it home, fixed it in 2 hours. Fresh install, new SSD, everything transfered nothing lost s cost me $200 for Windows 10 and SSD. Read online that they are frauds with fake Google reviews. Decided to give them benefit of the doubt. Turned out, they are full of sh**. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I can only go by what I experienced, and it was terrible service. The moment I brought a computer into the door a representative was rude to me and other customers. Rudely told one person to stay outside before he entered the building. I was very nice but never knew what to do to check in. The representative was rude while I was explaining the problems with the system.
When I asked to let him discuss it with my supervisor. with a phone call he did not want to discuss it with him and was rude to him over the phone too. I never knew what to do to check the computer in and when I followed him he rudely told me and others about Covid 19 limits even though I was wearing a mask and was compliant. To get clarification I asked if there was a check in process he said hell yes and you will be paying some money up front too!
He was so rude to my supervisor that my boss told me he did not like the salesman's attitude and just forget it. I don't know how I could have made this encounter any better on my end. He was just very rude and this is a totally inexcusable, un called for way of dealing with prospective customers and treating people! Sid email gaosid@aol.com.

VERY SHADY PLACE! Dropped off my computer for repair after it had water exposure. Told them this. They took my $70, cash was their preference. I was told that it may take some time for it to be complete. When I asked if I should call back in a week, I was told that it would likely take longer. I received a call the next day to let me know that my computer did have water damage (duh!) and that I could spend another $75 to send it for assessment and then they would let me know the actual cost for repair. Wow! I picked up my computer and took it elsewhere for repair.

BUYER BEWARE! They will sell you an older model computer with the promise to "repair" if any problems. I had the desktop less than 24 hours and it just runs loud and will not come on also It was dusty! They refuse refunds no matter the circumstances! Another angry customer waiting while I was returning the old inoperable computer they sold me.

I have had the absolute WORST experience with cooper systems. i regret ever going there. $1007 and over 8 weeks later, i finally have my laptop back. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. if i had to do it over again i would have been much better off buying a new mac. once they had my computer, it was like i fell down a rabbit hole.$75 to evaluate, $150 to send it to the 'depot', then $800 for the repair. no straight answers when i called and emailed for status. '7-10 days' turned into EIGHT WEEKS. i wish i had listened to my gut and just left. i feel like i have been fleeced. STRONGLY STRONGLY ADVISE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE.

Maybe it's because these people are so smart, they have no social skills. I don't know. They aren't very personable and that's frustrating to me. I've been in there a few times because they are local and because I want to support local companies, but both times I've walked in and just now, when I called, they aren't very helpful.
So I don't want to spend my money with someone like that. Maybe it's because they have gotten the short end of the proverbial stick so many times or maybe because each time I've talked to a person there, they've experienced some kind of tragedy that day. Who knows, maybe the guy ran over his puppy on the way to work, but I'm here with my hard-earned money and I want to make a purchase and they aren't very friendly. so I walk away. Three strikes and they're out. I'm just not going to deal with them anymore.

Awful company. Had our computer for eight weeks and still nothing. Keeps blaming the company they sub work out to in Atlanta. The only time they have called us was to collect payment. Always us calling to enquire even after they tell us each time we speak that they will make sure to call and update you on progress. Owner finally called today to make more excuses and then proceed to dog cuss me about the reviews we posted yesterday about his company. Said he wouldn't refund my money or give broken computer back until I take down reviews. I'm not taking them down.
Even if it cost me the over $500 we paid them and my computer. Hopefully it keeps other people from using them and experiencing what we have. We heard about them on local sports talk and thought they would be legit and honest. We were wrong.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They did work for us and in one case actually double charged us for their work. When we called to get an explanation, we were met with cursing and very unprofessional attitudes. I have never in my 30+ years of experience in this business dealt with a business that handles their customers like this. If you want to be cursed at and treated unprofessionally, then this is the place for you. If not you need to stay away.

Last night my laptop crashed and I really needed some documents off the drive for my work. I took it to Cooper Systems because I have been hearing some really good things about them from my friends. They were not as close to where I live as are some other companies, but it was worth the drive. I walked in as was greeted very quickly by a tech. I told him what happened and what I needed.
I left it there and was called a few hours later. I needed a new drive but they could recover my data and put it on my laptop. The next day I picked it up. All my files were there and it worked better than ever. Total tab about 200 bucks. Not bad. They were very fast, friendly and totally answered all of my questions. Thanks Cooper Systems. I recommend Cooper Systems to anyone needing their computer fixed.

The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We came here to get a computer for my son, they educated us the types of computers and the functions of each system. They also thought us on what he needed and not required. They also made sure that we were comfortable with our purchase and if we have any problem that we call them for support and fixing the problem. This place has an outstanding customer service and gives me the "warm fuzzy". I highly recommend this place and go and see Lauren. She is very charming and insightful.

This place is off the beaten path, if my husband's coworker hadn't recommended it then we wouldn't have known where it was. I'm glad we found them because a place with great service is hard to find. They not only fix computers but refurbish and sell used computers (my husband was lusting after a gaming set up at an amazing price). It's a small place, but when you walk in you are greeted and helped out by people who know what they are doing.
It isn't just like talking to someone who is working from a set of instructions. These people know what they are doing. Not once did I feel talked down to because I was a woman. Nor did I at any point feel like they couldn't have fixed the issue. Where as Patton's doesn't even stock computer parts for repair (no wonder they are more expensive) Coopers had my part in stock and did the service in less time for less money with much more knowledgeable and friendly people. Skip the big box stores.
If you need a computer repair go here. They won't try and get you to buy things you don't need and will make sure you understand everything. While I hope my toddler doesn't break my computer again I feel better knowing I have a great place I can get it repaired.
