I brought my computer into Compu-type a couple weeks ago because it was running very slow and was backed up. The staff was awesome and knew exactly how to help me! They got my computer running back to normal and even carried it back out to my car for me. They told me that they sell computers, copiers, printers, and design/host web pages.great to know! Now I know exactly where to go for all of my computer needs!

Last year i took my compaq laptop in for repair- to CompuType -and was informed that the hard drive was the worst they had seen. they could not retrieve anything from it, sold me a new hard drive. where very rude when i picked up my laptop after the work was done, said something like i told you to take care of it better. since i had never had it in before for service, i did not know what they where talking about and left rather confused and insulted by their behavior. (i told them i had not been in with it before, but he just scowled at me). maybe a mistake in who i was? never the less, it was unbelievably rude behavior. this year i took the same hard drive to Action computer in fairview heights, just to see if they could retrieve anything. lo and behold they could, and said it was not as damaged as reported to me. i have never abused my computers i have been told for their age they are in great condition. so what happened at CompuType in belleville is a mystery. i will never be going back. and i will never be recommending their service to anyone.
