Computer Frog

Beware - they scalped my gaming computer downgrading without consent or authorization. Crooks who deny having me as a customer. Failed to respond to my Better Business Bureau complaint which at least is filed against them as being not reputable. Treat some customers better than others. Never give your valued computer to these crooks who downgrade components as if you'll never realize what they've done. Then tell you that you need a new computer. They seem to value personal acquaintances higher than off the street customers.

I have used the FROG for years. very helpful, fast and good value. would not go any where else. Cody has been very helpful with our computor problems and solved them quickly.thank you very much.

This is the best computer shop around! I've used them multiple times and I'm always more then satisfied. Nick is the best! Honest work for an honest price! Frog is my go to.

Very knowledgeable and was able to solve my issues with my Surface tablet in a few minutes. Microsoft couldn't do in after several attempts on line.

It's a small shop but packed with great service. We had a hardware problem and they were happy to spend a fair bit of time working on finding the cause and then recommending replacement parts - all free. Decided to take them up on an offer for additional service because they were just so nice and affordable. I was a computer professional myself at one point, so there's not a lot I need typically, but I'd definitely use them again for additional services.

I was happy with the service and would give it 5 but they took longer than originally said. Also, they gave me the wrong power cord when i picked it up.

Always have had a good experience here. They will diagnose your issue for free. Also reasonable cost to repair if you choose to get your computer fixed

Like another review said, I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Probably their biggest issue is their promises to "call back" even though they have no intention to. I won't bore you with the details- but over the course of one month, I had MULTIPLE issues with the computer I took here. I brought it in with one simple problem, but I ended up with 3 more additional problems and COUNTLESS trips back and forth to get these issues resolved. Parts were switched and I was told they were brand new, although they looked nothing like the parts on the computer beforehand.

Throughout the process of getting all of these issues resolved, I called NUMEROUS times and they always assured THEY would call ME back, yet I never received one call. Their lack of communication is horrible and the length of time to make repairs is unacceptable- this may have to do with the fact that when I went to pick up my computer he was playing a video game.

Not to mention- the place is disgusting. There were at least 100 computers scattered and stacked across the place, and I don't think it has ever been cleaned. They definitely need a new slogan- as Fast, Reliable, On-time, Guaranteed, would NOT describe this business. I will never be going back and wish I would've done my research before going here, hope I can save someone the trouble!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I don't know what happened to this place. We had used them for years. They used to always do a real good job. But this place has taken a nose dive. We recently took my daughter's laptop in to be worked on. They were slow, which is ok. But lying to us and doing exceptionally poor work is not. Sad to say, but avoid this place.

Well, my hard drive had crashed or something. So I went to computer frog as a friend suggested. Waited 3 days still no update, called them and they said they would call me back; they didn't. Called another 2/3 days later they said they were diagnosing it, called they next day still didn't know anything other then having an assumption what it was.

I decided their communication was awful not to mention that place is disgusting. I took it to tech smart, and it was done within 3 days. (For a cheaper price then computer frog and it runs 10X better then before) not to mention when I walked into computer frog they were playing video games.

The people at Computer Frog are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. If you're having problems with your computer, they're the people you want to see.

This place is a staple, a necessity. Reliable, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable all be it disorganized. They are obviously getting too big for their little lily pad downtown and need a bigger space. I've used them a number of times for a variety of reasons. Death by coffee, death by foot, death by virus, death by 9 year old and so forth. They've always been fair. Not timely, but definitely fair.

DO NOT COME HERE! My god. How can this place still be in business? There are orders on the ground from April of 2017 still out. When I deposited a hard drive 2 months ago and came to pick it up, the guy had lost it saying "I don't know where it is, can I drop it of later?". This place is robbing Lapeer blind, as well as wasting many peoples precious time.

I'm convinced that most of the 5 star ratings are paid for or fake. Read the non 5's for an accurate assesment. Just look at the photos if you need convincing. Someone should call the police. 0/10

Not all that, had them install 1tb hd, only installed 500 I had to do the rest but I learned. Also gave them another ok tower for a cheaper price nope so I lost out on that.would use other place in town!

Good work, reasonable pricing and return of hardware speed to promise. Repeat customers from the Thumb area and Ann Arbor.

I dropped my laptop and my screen was shattered so I called BestBuy to see what their options were, the sales rep literally told me that I'm better off buying a new laptop or look someplace else. She let me know that "geek squad" would charge me just as much to fix the screen vs buying a brand new computer. So, my dad ended up bringing in my laptop to Computer Frog that way we can weigh out are options and see what we can do.

I can't even believe how reasonable their prices are and what an amazing job they did! My laptop is like brand new and I'm so excited to have it back in one piece. They definitely earned the 5-star review, and I'm happy to support such an amazing local business that actually cares :

My laptop died, so I dropped it off here. They will look at your computer for free, but the catch is "when they have time", which for me wasn't acceptable, so I paid a fee. For the fee they looked at it that day, great service. Unfortunately my laptop wasn't worth repairing. I would use them again.

I've paid $125.00 per hour for someone to come in and diagnose problems for my system. When I called the FROG, they came in for a flat rate and did the work right. The only issue I have with them is that their rates are so fair that they seem to be stretched a bit too far.

Great computer shop, nice store selection, fast friendly service, what more could you want?

The guys took care of my computer immediately. I had no wait and the cost was very reasonable!
