The price was right! They found the problem I was having with my laptop within minutes. The reason I did not give them 5 stars was due to no communication. I was told 3 - 5 days m laptop would be ready so I called on the 6 day because no called me. For them to tell me that they were going to check on my laptop and call back. Which they did the next day to tell me that the part they ordered was missing a piece and it took them another week to call me to let me know my laptop is ready for pick up! But overall GOOD JOB! My laptop works just like it did when I purchased it.

These people are definitive proof of why you should support small businesses. I had a 1TB external hard drive crash and rendered inoperable when exporting a music project I had been working on for months, making all ~300GB of my life's work in my music production hobby and college assignments vanish. I brought it up to Tailored Data Solutions and had it fixed within a couple of days with the expertise of one their employees who is excellent at data recovery.
Only ~300MB of the ~300GBs of data was corrupted/not recoverable, which is about a 99.999% recovery rate. They were absolute life-savers. The biggest takeaway was this: don't take your broken/damaged hardware or software to these big-tech monopolies (e.g. Apple, Samsung, Microsoft) who overcharge and take way longer for the same services that Tailored provides.
I've had an external drive crash before a few years back and the large company I sent it to charged me almost 6x as much for their service and took weeks longer than Tailored did. Support your small businesses.and backup your data too.

These guys are the right guys to fix your laptop phone or computer Caleb was very honest up front the receptionist was very honest and upfront. I've been to a few creepazoids and big-box stores and all you do is get ripped off. My billing computer crashed on the Friday morning I called them I brought it in there was an expedited fee I didn't mind paying it and it was repaired and up running with a warranty by about 5 in the afternoon. bar none of these people are professional will treat you right I have any phone or computer issues I will be back.

Excellent Service. The computer crashed and my wife was concerned about her pictures. Best Buy told me it would be $150 to get the pictures. These guys did it for $100. All done in 2 days! I'll definitely recommend to all of my friends. Used this company again recently to fix my laptop. I had to have it done in an emergency and they installed a new drive. The guy told me it was going to be faster as it was a "solid state drive", but the difference is amazing. It's like I bought a new PC.

These guys were the only ones who could (or would) replace the screen on my lg tribute dynasty. Every other phone repair place tried to sell me a new phone! These guys were easy to work with. They ordered the part, called me when it came in, and then made the repair. Straight forward, inexpensive, and very professional. Would definitely recommend.

I am so thrilled we used your company! I have a MacBook Pro computer and was told by Apple that they didn't think it could be repaired and if so would cost over $800.00! I am on a fixed income and no way was it an option to pay that or purchase a new computer (which is what they wanted me to do). The computer was brought to you and you fixed it quickly and so, so, so less costly!
You even fixed the latch on the top of the computer and we had not mentioned that to you! I am just so happy and am recommending your company to everyone! I actually live in Northern Virginia (we have a home in Chester also) and am telling everyone on Facebook to go to your company for repairs! I used this company to fix my son's laptop. It was reported that the hard drive had crashed. I own a HP laptop that I paid about $300 dollars for and to have it repaired was worth the investment. All went well except because I travel quite a bit with work. I could not get back to pick it up. About 8 months later after repairs were done and several phone calls to come and get my laptop, I finally made it in and there it was, fixed and ready to come home. NO additional cost. Great company, patient and long suffering owner. I highly recommend them.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I went to get the back cover of my laptop fixed because it had popped off the screen from a fall. They said they would have no problem fixing it and gave us a time frame of 3-4 days, well that turned into a week. They then called me and said it was ready, and when I went to go pick it up, and paid $147 for parts and labor, it was still broken.
The person that rung me up tried several times to return the money on my card but couldn't. So I had to walk out with a broken computer and out of $147. I called the shop the next day and they said they would order another part, well I hadn't heard anything from them in almost a week in a half so I had to call them and they told me I had a cheap computer and they couldn't find another back for the screen that wasn't already broken.
So at this point I asked for my money back because nothing was done to solve the problem. The business owner said he would give me a refund but he had to take the newer back off and give me the older one back. I asked if I could just get the difference back and just keep the part on, because it would probably be more damaged then it was before. We were told no they couldn't do that, they were willing to spend more time in labor just to take off the part and give us all our money back.
We came in the store to talk to the owners and we went back and forth. My husband went to pick up the old part to take pictures and the owner tried snatching it out of his hand accusing us of trying to steal it, all the while we had our two children with us. The customer service is just horrible, the logic behind his decision. At this point I still do not have my money and a broken computer.
