The wrong adapter could cause permanent damage to your pc! It's important to get the best adapter for your laptop, but you do not want to pay extortionate prices, right? Don't be fooled by fake security software! Rogues like the one pictured below may look convincing, but they are malicious software! Even trying to close the window may allow the rogue to install itself on your pc.

Changed the password on my computer and didn't tell me at all. Really great to bring home a supposedly working computer that I can't log into.

Our 8 year old desktop computer was having problems along with me the operator. With some good help and hard work by Dot.help our computer was fixed and back at home operating fantastically. Thank you for your great work and knowledge of software and operating system. Very good pricing for work done.

Live in Hawaii. Passing thru Chehalis as I do periodically to visit my brother in the boondocks nearby. Almost new computer failed. Heavily dependent on worldwide connectivity. Saw Phil's shop by chance. Explained problem as I knew it. He asked how much time I had. I said "a couple of hours." He said he'd see what diagnosis he could perform in given time and immediately went to work.

Two hours later, he explained that the problems would require time to correct but since machine was under warranty, I could get it fixed or replaced at home. I had an older backup unit with issues all of which he resolved in less than an hour. He also sold me a refurbished unit with the newest Intel i8 chip at a fraction of what I would pay elsewhere.

So I am on my way, now comfortable that when I'm in the area and encounter computer issues, Phil's dot.help will be there to save me. Summary: What impressed me most when I entered dot.help was the appearance of Phil's shop - IMMACULATE! Every "project" in the work area laid out on a long table each one separated from the other. It looked like an operating room.

The second thing that impressed me was Phil's customer service skills. When I told him I had two hours, he was willing to give it a shot when the easy answer would have been a laugh and a "No way before next week at the earliest" You just don't find such "can do" service nowadays. Or if you do, you know straight away that the cost "for this special service" will be prohibitive. Re the negative reviews, I'd need to hear "the rest of the story." I can't imagine we're talking about the same Phil Leavens I did business with last week.

My mom brought her computer in to this place. He did not fix her problem! He also deleted her email account and opened another, now nothing works right! Her and I went in and spoke to him. He was rude and very disrespectful. Very belittling man! I would never recommendation this business to anybody!

He's always done a great job working on my Macs. Very courteous, great communications--calls with questions, and when it's ready. Hard to find someone who's good with Macs, but he definitely is!

We took our computer there cause it was having a little problem. The computer guy fixed it alright, he made it worse. Games won't work, computer was slow and etc. Don't take your computer there for any reason.

WARNING! Please get a written quote before you drop any computer off to be cleaned or repaired. I went in to find out how much it might cost to replace a fan inside a laptop. I was told around $50 dollars, so then I specifically ask the technition what would be the worst case scenario, and was told it will be between $50-$75 if we have to order a new fan, and if it just needs cleaned it would be less.

I didn't get it in writing. They charged over $110 and didn't need to order the fan. That was just to clean it. WOW Twice the price and I had no choice but to pay it to get my laptop back. Better yet just go somewhere else that will honor their quote.
